About Me

Currently the Secretary of Malaysia Stroke Council, advisory board member for pharmaceutical industry and an active member of Malaysia Society of Hypertension and Malaysia Society of Neurosciences, Dr Tan had 14 years of experience in medicine, specializing in Neurology. Dr Tan had vast experience working in government, private sector, university and also research center. A firm believer of lifelong education and learning, Dr Tan published his research extensively in local and international journals. He strongly believed each patient is important and unique and deserved the best of care at all time.

His special interest are stroke medicine, particularly in the thrombolysis treatment of acute stroke , stroke care, Botulinium toxin injection for neurology disorder, autoimmune neurology disease, neuromuscular disease , movement disorder, dementia and neurocognitive disorder.
