About Me

Dr Sia Sheau Fung, Consultant Neurosurgeon and Spinal Surgeon. He became a member of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Ireland in 2003. Trained in Neurosurgery and Spinal Surgery and completed his Fellowship from Sydney Spine Surgery and Dalcross Adventist Hospital, Sydney. Dr Sia is a member of the Academy of Surgical Educators, Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), Malaysian Society of Neurosciences (MSN) and the Ex-treasurer for Neurosurgical Association of Malaysia (NAM). He completed his Ph.D in cerebrovascular surgery at the Australian School of Advanced Medicine, Macquarie University, Sydney.

Academically, he published a book and writes for social media. He is also an author and co-author of numerous publications in reputable journals within the field of cerebral revascularization surgery and CFD environment of intracranial vascular pathology.

盛晓峯 (Dr Sia Sheau Fung ) 是Thomson医院的脑神经外科医生，也是神经外科和脊柱专科顾问、同时也在马大医学院客座教课。2005年在马来亜大学完成了外科硕士学位后，并成功获取奖学金再前往悉尼麦考瑞大学修读脑血管手术博士学位。

他于2003年成为爱丁堡皇家外科医院和爱尔兰皇家外科医学院成员外，他也是马来西亚神经科学学会（Malaysian Society of Neurosciences- MSN ) 和马来西亚神经外科学会(Neurosurgical Association of Malaysia- NAM ) 活跃分子之一。

在学木上，除了在本地和国际期刊上发表多篇出版物，他也积极与国内外的大专（澳洲大学和北京清华大学）有学术的连系和合作，也多次在区域和国际脑神经科学研讨会发表言论和观点。特别感兴趣的主要是脑血管疾病，计算血液动力学和成人复杂脊柱病变，这包括了动脉瘤手术，烟雾病（Moyamoya Disease ) 和其他闭塞性疾病的脑转流手术，退行性脊柱疾病和脊柱微创手术。

除了繁重的工作，他也热心与参与义诊，非政府组织活动，帮助不幸的一群。

已婚，育有一个儿子两个女儿。
